Despite fall in fresher hiring, mass layoffs, Tech Inc remains a hot favourite among campus students

Consumer products (27%) is the second-most preferred sector to work in, followed by banking, insurance and financial services (21%), consulting (20%) and auto ancillary (19%). Ecommerce (18%) is the least preferred sector to work in, according to the survey of 300 campuses, including tech colleges and B-schools, conducted between October 2022 and March 2023.
