EV-related incentives are the newest employee perk
Indian companies like Vedanta, Larsen & Toubro, and MakeMyTrip are creating EV incentive policies to encourage the adoption of electric vehicles by their employees. In addition, the companies are creating EV charging stations within their campuses to increase the accessibility of EVs for their employees. These policies are aimed at becoming more environmentally friendly in alignment with India's target of net-zero emissions by 2070 and maximizing employee welfare by encouraging a sustainable initiative. The purpose of these incentives is to bridge the price gap between EVs and internal combustion engine automobiles.
