Hiring activity dipped by 4% in April compared to a month ago, indicating cautious sentiment among Indian recruiters, according to foundit Insights Tracker (fIT). While BFSI (+3%), travel & tourism (+2%), and import/export (+13%) picked up on a month-on-month (m-o-m) basis, many sectors such as logistics, home appliances, and oil and gas saw a steep fall.
